Low molecular weight heparin sodium (LMWH) is a non-oral anticoagulant commonly used in clinical practice. It is a fragment of amino glucan sulfate cleaved from ordinary heparin from pig intestinal mucosa, with an average molecular weight range of 3000-8000KD.
Low molecular weight heparin sodium is a general term for a class of drugs, including low molecular weight heparin sodium, low molecular weight heparin calcium, enoxaparin sodium, natparin calcium, dalheparin sodium and so on. Different low molecular weight heparin sodium is produced in different ways, their molecular weight is different, their anti-factor Xa activity and anti-factor IIa activity are different, but their clinical effect is not different.
