Enoxaparin sodium injection is an injectable drug used for the treatment of
thrombotic diseases. Enoxaparin sodium injection is mainly used for the
prevention of venous thromboembolism (prevention of venous thrombosis),
especially embolism associated with certain operations. It is used for
hemodialysis in extracorporeal circulation to prevent thrombosis and treat deep
vein thrombosis. So what should I pay attention to when I use enoxaparin sodium
injection?
Patients should pay attention to the following matters when using enoxaparin sodium injection:
[Contraindications] Acute bacterial endocarditis, massive hemorrhage, thrombocytopenia; Active digestive ulcer, stroke (except for systemic embolism) and bleeding tendency.
This drug should not be used for intramuscular injection. Use with caution in patients with hepatic insufficiency, uncontrolled arterial hypertension, history of gastrointestinal ulcer, and pregnant women. Pregnant women should weigh the pros and cons of using this drug.
It is also important to note that the same drug may have different usage or dosage depending on the packaging specifications. To prevent DVT, adults at high risk of DVT were given 40mg at 12 hr preoperatively, followed by subcutaneous injection of 40mg every 24hr. Patients at moderate thrombotic risk were given 20mg at 2hr preoperatively, followed by subcutaneous injection every 24 hr. The course should last 10-14 days or until the risk of thrombosis has disappeared. Treatment of venous thrombosis at 1 mg/kg bw, subcutaneous administration every 12 hr for 10 days. Single dose before extracorporeal circulation dialysis: 1mg/kg body weight. The above dose is sufficient for a 4hr dialysis course (unless fibrin rings are formed), and a quarter of the above dose must be added per hour if the dialysis is prolonged. Unstable angina pectoris and non-q-wave myocardial infarction were subcutaneously administered at 1mg/kg body weight every 12 hr within 24hr, lasting for 6-8 days until clinical symptoms stabilized.
Patients may experience adverse reactions to enoxaparin sodium injection. If patients have adverse reactions to enoxaparin sodium injection, they should be stopped in time for medical examination.
Bleeding: This reaction can occur with any anticoagulant. When this happens, the doctor should be informed immediately. Petechiae and ecchymosis are part of the injection site. Local or systemic allergic reactions.
Thrombocytopenia (abnormally low platelet count) : Call your physician immediately.
Rare severe rash at injection site: consult physician. After several months of treatment with enoxaparin sodium injection, a tendency to osteoporosis (brittle bones caused by demineralization of bone) may develop. Increases the level of certain enzymes in the blood (transaminases). In subarachnoid/epidural anesthesia, low molecular weight heparin is used, and intra - spinal hematoma is rarely reported. Consult your physician or pharmacist immediately if any unmentioned adverse reactions occur.
Is to use in accordance with the above matters need attention of heparin sodium injection, to deep vein thrombosis early prevention, early treatment, once appear, the deep vein thrombosis should stay in bed, and raise the limb, encourage the patient to do more flexed activities, as far as possible early ambulation, bed after wear stretch hose, on the other hand, to do a good job in taking care of patients after surgery to closely observe the patient, once found abnormal, to take corresponding measures to deal with as soon as possible, to ensure that the patient rehabilitation as soon as possible.
